Counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home with both couples at a time that is convenient for you through our easy scheduling platform.

Dr. Ann-Marie Denton is a licensed mental health clinician with over 20 years of experience working in public health. She has worked with adults and children with developmental disabled problems, behavioral issues, chronic illnesses and substance use disorders.

Dr. Denton moved to the United States as a teenager and grew up in the Town of Milton MA. She also was born in Montego Bay Jamaica, received her bachelors from the University of Massachusetts/ Boston, MA., and her masters from Cambridge College, MA. She graduated from Regis College with a doctorate in Education. Her research dissertation focused on the underutilization of counseling center services by students who identify as Black. She has done clinical internships at Dimock Detox and the University of Massachusetts Autism Research Program.
Ann-Maries' area of expertise include behavioral issues, substance use disorders and anxiety disorders. Her special interests include the management of chronic illnesses and depression.
Ann-Marie loves to walk and enjoy sports.

My name is Rizkhan Muhwezi. I am currently a mental health intern and a student in the Masters of Arts program for Professional Clinical Counseling at UMass Global. My specialization lies in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and anxiety. I also have extensive experience in providing support to teenagers and they navigate the various challenges of adolescence.
Originally from Uganda, I moved to the United States at the age of 17 and made my home in Burlington. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fitchburg State University. My experiences—both personal and academic have shaped my deep passion for mental health and my desire to walk alongside others as they navigate their healing journeys.
I approach counseling with empathy, cultural awareness, and a client-centered mindset, believing that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported in a space free of judgment. I’m here to listen, to empower, and to grow with you.
Rizkhan will be seeing patients under the supervision of Dr. Ann-Marie Denton, ED.D, LMHC.
